Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing, or using GAMED, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What GAMED is

GAMED is a game review and tracking app that lets you rate and review games, track what you're playing, and follow friend activity. GAMED is developed and provided by Ashkan Rezaei.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use GAMED.

Your account

GAMED uses a real account system (email and password, via our backend provider Supabase), so your account and data sync across any device you sign in on. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. You can deactivate your account at any time, or permanently delete it and its data, from Settings.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you create in GAMED, your reviews, ratings, photos, comments, and profile information ("your content"). By posting content, you grant us the licence needed to store it and display it within the app to the other users it's meant for (e.g. a public review shown to other users, a friends-only post shown to your friends), consistent with the Privacy Policy. You're responsible for what you post.

Acceptable use

When using GAMED, you agree not to:

• Post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Attempt to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the app
• Use the app for any purpose other than personal, non-commercial use

Reporting, blocking, and enforcement

GAMED lets you block or mute another user, and report content or a user that you believe breaks these Terms. We may review reported content and remove content, restrict, or terminate an account that violates these Terms, at our discretion.

Game titles, artwork, and trademarks

Game titles, cover art, and related trademarks displayed in GAMED belong to their respective publishers and rights holders, and are used within the app for identification and review purposes only. GAMED is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game publisher or platform holder mentioned in the app.

Intellectual property

The GAMED app itself, including its design, code, and branding is owned by Ashkan Rezaei. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the app outside of normal use permitted by the App Store.

No warranty

GAMED is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. Game information (ratings, release dates, availability) is provided for reference and may not always be fully accurate or up to date.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ashkan Rezaei is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of GAMED, including loss of your account data.

Changes to GAMED or these terms

We may update GAMED's features or these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Termination

You can stop using GAMED at any time by deleting the app. We reserve the right to restrict access to the app if these terms are violated.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
